I recently attended a 2-day online cyber security course, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. As a Yacht engineer who's primary background is from the mechanical / hydraulics field and wanted to learn more about the AVIT system onboard large yachts, this course is the perfect introduction. I've always been ''Good" with computers and see myself as pretty tech savvy, but never understood how and where IP addressing comes from, how it works and what it all means. When it came to fault finding, I always asked myself, "Where do I even start?". This course explains exactly how data is being sent over the internet, on a Local Network and how it all works. After completing this course, I can honestly say that my mindset changed and I feel more comfortable tackling issues onboard. Bernhard, who presented the course, did an excellent job explaining complex terms and topics with basic examples, which made it easy to understand. I highly recommend taking this course for any person who finds themselves in a similar boat as myself.Take note, over the 2 weeks that the course spans, prepare yourself to have no commitments or distractions." Once again thank you for all the help on the course. I will be joining the new project with confidence!  The Networking Essentials course gave me the confidence needed to step up into a role which required more responsibility and networking knowledge. From here I believe the knowledge in networking will be exponential and I look forward to taking another course in the future. I would like to say a special thanks to Bernhard for his ability to make a seemingly daunting topic quite manageable and kept it interesting throughout the course. I hope you are keeping well and thanks again for all your help along the way with this course. This is the second course I’ve completed with Bernhard, the “Introduction to IT Networks,” and once again it was delivered brilliantly from start to finish. His teaching style matched my needs perfectly, combining clear presentations, self-study, videos, quizzes, and lots of practical time using Packet Tracer and other applications. These elements kept me engaged and motivated at every stage. Partway through, I was able to spend a few days on a yacht and immediately put my new AVIT troubleshooting skills into action, helping to solve real technical challenges. Bernhard was incredibly accommodating, making sure I could take this opportunity, which I really appreciated. This course provides an excellent foundation for anyone looking to break into the yachting industry.
